Our Doctors
Dr Andre Bonny
MRNZCGP, MBChB
After growing up in Tapawera then Stoke, I moved south to Dunedin for my medical training before working at Christchurch hospital as a new graduate doctor. I then completed my GP training on the West Coast based in Greymouth. I somehow found time along the way to get married and have 3 children! I am a keen runner with an interest in both sports and musculoskeletal medicine. I enjoy the team aspect of general practice and look forward to meeting many more interesting patients.
Dr Taisia Cech
MRNZCGP, MBChB (Otago)
I grew up a stones throw away in the Nelson Lakes area. I completed a Bachelor in Human Anatomy at Otago University and went on to study medicine at the Otago University campus and Wellington hospital. I stayed on to work at Wellington hospital and then moved back to work at Nelson hospital. I went on to complete my GP training here in Nelson also and now enjoy working as a GP in the Tasman region. I have completed a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition and am currently furthering my postgraduate training in Women's Health. I love the Nelson region and spend my spare time tramping, snowboarding and cycling around the great terrain.
